When a large crowd and media attention are necessary to draw public attraction to an event, very high profile entertainment is needed. Death defying stunts draw huge crowds.
Peter's hanging straight jacket escape one such example. In full public view, Peter is strapped into a straight jacket and his ankles bound. A cable decending from a crane is then attached to his ankles and he is hoisted high into the air. Now inverted and suspended above the crowd he struggles to break free. . .
